  • Google Maps and GPS with Tigerpaw

    Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone has had success using any of the mapping facilities in Tigerpaw with vehicle GPS tracking for service order management?

Google Maps has just launched here in Australia, which includes the Google Maps for mobile. Any information on any of the mapping services would be appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

We have GPS tables from tracking vehicles, but they have to be populated from a GPS feed. We are currently working with Network Car to provide the first true intergration of this type with Tigerpaw CRM+.

Any update on this? Is anyone using the GPS tracking feature yet?

        Debbie,

What are you requiring and what devices are you using? We're currently looking at third party apps such as MyCarTracks (Android). Tigerpaw has had all these underlying features since Version 10 but haven't really run with it. We have an AV customer who really wants this so they can track their vans and use route management for possible billing purposes.

We use Windows phones and iPhones with GPS but no 3rd party apps. We haven't tried using this at all - I was under the impression it worked with Google Maps and the cell phones GPS.......sounds like I'm mistaken.

            Debbie,

In the US Tigerpaw works with Microsoft MapPoint and the third party application Network Fleet. Not Google Maps unfortunately although its all there for someone to run with.
