Asset check box "Print on Customer Facing Reports"

On the customer asset window in the upper right hand corner is a check box "Print on Customer Facing Reports". assetcheckbox.JPG
I can't find this in the Tigerpaw documentation. Please advise what it means to check this box, or leave it unchecked.

This checkbox may/may not be used as a flag on reports in the Reports Explorer that you may give to customers. For example, let's say you have items in the customer assets like patch cables. If you printed a customer report of assets, you may not want to see the cable as an asset. The checkbox let's you define that.

In order to see it in action, I would find a customer with multiple asses and then uncheck that box for one item and check for another and then run a customer asset report from Reports Explorer. You should see the one unchecked hidden.
