Hot Notes within a particular Opportunity/Quote/Service Order

It would be extremely helpful if a hot note could be associated with an individual Opportunity, Quote, or Service Order. There are times special instructions are needed with one order for an account. A pop-up note would be extremely helpful with this. Is that a current feature and if so, how do we use it? If it is not a current feature, is it possible in future upgrades?
