Could Hourly Contracts do workflow notification when x number of hours is left?

TP currently has work flow notifications for when contracts are about to expire in (X) number of days. Perfect tool as it let's everyone know the contract needs to be renewed.

"How about TP do the same but for Hourly contracts to notify when (X) number of Hours is left in the Contract. Maybe we need to sell more block of hours to our customers to support them..." But I cannot auto notify the account rep?????
