I understand how and why the opportunity modules are designed to function in regards to stage changes. The module is designed to dynamically flow (stage changes from A to B the probability percent and estimated close date change accordingly) as an opportunity progresses through the various stages as per the master table settings for each stage.
Having said that...would it possible to have this "dynamic" feature toggled on/off either on a individual basis (preferred) or globally? Our sales team manually sets these depending on several factors. With the current design each sales rep must go in after each stage change on every opportunity and adjust the settings to reflect a more accurate estimation...there is no constant as each customer and opportunity is unique in our environment
