Estimated cost when purchasing

Can you please make it so that you have the option to globally check or uncheck the box that says "use this estimated cost when purchasing"? i have to constantly remind my staff to check this box and we need it selected on all parts added.

this would be HUGE for us.

SYSTEM OPTION - Use Estimated Cost when Purchasing !!!!!

YES THIS NEEDS TO BE A SYSTEM WIDE OPTION TO TURN OFF OR ON. Our Quotes are often upwards of 75 items per Quote and it's such a pain and time waster to have to go in and check the box before converting a Quote to a SO. PLEASE make it a system wide option.

A big improvement, BUT we still need the ability to select which cost is used as the Estimated Cost. Please see my post at

The write up was for this specific request only. I need to do some research on the other request, it will be a more lengthy write-up. In the end the two are related, but for development purposes they are at least two separate tasks. I will comment on the other thread once I've had time to research and develop a game plan to submit.

I appreciate that my request (from 2013) is more work, but your solution does not help any client who uses Average, FIFO, or LIFO costing. They should be advised to not use this feature since if only benefits Standard cost users. Thanks.
