  • Email Marketing

New to using TigerPaw and this group, so thank you in advance for your help.

At prior positions, I have designed and deployed emails using Constant Contact or Mail Chimp - especially for email reporting. Im not a designer, but CC and MailChimp made the email design process very easy.

Now, it dosn't look like there isn't an API for those programs for TigerPaw.

    So are you:
1)Exporting your email list from TigerPaw and importing into CC or MailChimp to deploy your emails? Im worried about problems with Constant Contact and continually importing a new list for each email - blacklisting, SPAM problems, etc

    or

    2) Designing your emails in another progam (ie: Dreamweaer), which is much harder to manage, and copying the HTML into TigerPaw for deployment, adding the emal analytics tokens, etc.

Not sure what best course of action. Also, how do you manage email newsletter subscriptions from your website? Manually add into TIgerPaw?

    Thank you for your feedback!

This is really up to what you'd like to do. I have clients do it both ways. Ideally, you'd get more out of Tigerpaw's functionality if you sent the email from Tigerpaw. Using Email Analytics, for example, requires that the email be sent out of Tigerpaw. I'd let a few customers respond with their experiences before making a final choice, and it's not like you can't adjust what you do at anytime, because you can .
