Project assigned to wrong account, Help

Is there a way to change the account that a project is assigned to?

The project was created under the wrong customer.

Have there already been orders assigned to the incorrectly named project? If not, you should be able to delete it and re-create the project under the correct name.

The answer to this is no. You need to recreate the project under the correct account. The other thing you will need to do is move the service orders from the original project to the new account and new project. The issue you face is with Quotes, as they cant be moved to another account so there is some manual intervention required there; duplicate the quote, link it to the new project, create the services orders again, then void the original quote.
