Is there a way to prevent people from duplicating quotes with Inactive items?
A much better and more efficient way of tackling this problem to us would be;
1) On the price book item, mark item as "Replaced" but when you pick this a replacement ID box would be available to put in the new Item ID
2) Sales rep copies quote which includes a slew of Replaced items
3) Pop up dialog says something to the extent of "Your quote contains items that have been marked as replaced/inactive, would you like to change these to the suggested replacements?"
4) Sales person has a quote that actually has current parts and prices
5) A lot more happier people
