  • Anyone else having trouble with Exchange Integrator ver. 3?

How many out there are using the Exchange Integrator and how many are using the newest version? (ver. 3) The service stops syncing or just crashes altogether. We cannot get it to run more than a few hours. We are told we are the only ones having this problem with Exchange Integrator. Anyone?
    Thanks

We are not seeing this problem at all. For the most part - just runs. Maybe once every 6 months it will stop syncing out of the blue and we just restart the service.

It stops responding at least once a week - we changed the service to have it set to restart itself...but it is very annoying.

I had this problem also, but only at random, not every few hors. I didn't have time to keep 'fiddling' with it, so I wrote a couple of simple command scripts, and scheduled them with 'Scheduled Tasks.'

        tsiExchangeIntegrator-stop.cmd:
        net stop tsiExchangeIntegrator
        exit

        tsiExchangeIntegrator-start.cmd:
        net start tsiExchangeIntegrator
        exit

We use Exchange Integrator 3 and it stops working for us as well. The TP Exchange Integrator service has to be stop/started.

We are having the same issue. Specially if we reboot the server. Any ideas? We have it autorestart as well, but eventhough the service is running in the event viewer it does not show as started.

Sorry I hadn't seen this post earlier. We too have the integrator stop regularly, usually every few hours, at the least it's once a day. We get notifications from TP by e-mail that it has stopped, then we restart it. Sometimes it says it has stopped, but it hasn't. It always eventually stops though. This is even with the newest 3.3 version. Very frustrating.

We also wrote a script that restarts it every 4 hours. We did not have this issue until we implemented it with Exchange 2013 and v3 of the integrator.

We have had issues with EI for quite some time. But things seem to be working a bit better after following Tech Support's suggestions:

                    1) Changed the Timer interval to 2 minutes, under EI Settings.
                    2) In TP: Reset all of the users to "Sync within the next 3 months" in the MS Exchange tab, in Personal Settings.
2.5) Modified "Synchronize Calendar scheduled on/after" to 1 week prior to current day.
                    3) Wrote Script to restart EI services every 6 hours.

                    Additional findings:
                    * We set the EI logging to "All Items" for a while, and noticed a few things...
                    * We had some contact sync corruption with 2 of our reps. (We have a case open regarding this)
                    * There was also an issue with the service finding autodiscover."yourdomain.com".

Once we removed contact sync from those 2 reps, and fixed the autodiscover issue, the logs quickly became "quiet".

                    HTH.
