Need Help with Account & Contact updates

We have been a Tigerpaw customer for almost 10 years, and we really need help on this. We keep trying to figure out a way to automate the updating of all of our Account and Contact information in our system - using an automated tool. Because Contacts are not really connected to Accounts in Tigerpaw, it becomes very difficult to export those contacts and send out emails or surveys to ask people to provide updated information. I cannot believe there IS NOT A WAY to automatically import & update Contact records. You can import new records, but you cannot Export, Update, and then Re-Import Contacts into Tigerpaw. Has anybody ever figured out an efficient way to do this? I would pay a small ransom at this point for some help. Thank you, Mark Kiefer

I would love a way in which a given contact could only exist once in Tigerpaw and be used across multiple accounts. (Eliminating the need to clone and clone and clone). If a contact's email changes we would only have to update it once and be done, instead of having to touch every account for multi-unit accounts.

That would be amazing. With Salesforce knocking at our doors, more automation would be beneficial.

We have only had TP for 8 months and I already fine adding the same contract to multiple related sites time consuming. I have thought it would be nice to connect the accounts via the related feature and have a check box for certain contacts to flow over like the main contract at the parent company or especially the bill to contact and bill to email.

I agree with others on this thread. It would be so nice to be able to "link" contacts in related accounts. Many of our customers have multiple locations but share contacts. It is very time consuming to enter in the list of contacts into all the related accounts. It is also very time consuming when one of those contacts changes information or needs to be deleted as you have to go into every account and make the change. I hope this is something that Tigerpaw will address on an update in the near future.
