We are beginning a partnership with a hosted VoIP provider that will sell us their services at a wholesale rate and we would then sell those services to our customers. The only hitch is that we would be responsible for billing and collecting from our customers and that includes all services, taxes, and fees. Is anyone providing hosted voice in this way and billing out of Tigerpaw and if so, how well does it work for you?
I'm having trouble seeing how this would be possible in Tigerpaw because our customer base is geographically diverse so the taxes and fees could vary greatly depending on where a customer is located. Another thing would be metered usage such as International Calling and how we could build that in. The provider is recommending we use another 3rd party billing service but we are trying to see if Tigerpaw could handle the billing.
