Tigerpaw 14 available for download

Greetings!

We are happy to announce that Tigerpaw 14R1 is ready for download. There are several exciting enhancements available in this version.

Please read everything carefully and follow the directions below to avoid complications. We want this to be an easy transition and not following the exact instructions can result in a lot extra time and inconvenience. If you have any questions please post them here and we’ll help.


Important Notes

• Database update: The 14 R1 database update may take up to an hour while Tigerpaw applies a single, standard encryption method throughout the application.
  
• Payment Processing: Tigerpaw now supports Mercury Payment Systems as well as BNG Holdings to process credit card payments.
• Payment processing: ACH and Credit card conversion wizard may require considerable processing time, based on the number of credit cards and bank records in your database.
• Terminal servers: If installing 14 R1 on a terminal server, you must run Tigerpaw Terminal Server Prerequisites.exe before installing Tigerpaw Business Suite.
  
• Timer Service: installation has to be launched and installed by an Administrator.
  
• Windows Vista: If your Windows operating system is Vista or newer, you will need to run the install as an administrator.
  

Things to consider

1. Before beginning the upgrade process back up your Tigerpaw database and STOP the service on all of your add-ons.
   
2. Install version 14.1.10 - this is required before you can continue with the other add on products. As part of this update, you must also install the updated Timer Service included with this release. If you use automated billing, once your Timer Service has been updated open the Timer Service Configurator and verify the report file paths in the Regular invoice and Consolidated Invoice fields on the Automated Billing tab.
   
3. One you have updated the software to version 14.1.10 you need to reinstall the latest versions of the your add on products.

Installed at Decision Digital without an issue. Note to everyone: backup your web.config file before upgrading your portal. The default location is under the Tigerpawe_portal directory. Once it has been successfully upgraded, copy your web.config file back to the Tigerpaw_portal directory BEFORE launching it to test. We've reported this item to Tigerpaw and are confident it will be resolved in the next build. For now, take this safety step and your portal upgrade will go fine.

1. Quotes List View now includes Postal Code column
2. Fix to post invoice correctly when it contains an open assembly with a zero quantity component
3. Fix for Tigerpaw Kaseya Integrator to work correctly with Kaseya 7

Email Connector 2.11 is now available for download. This version works with Tigerpaw version 14.1.10 or higher. This version contains the following enhancements:

1. Monitor multiple unique POP3 email addresses on multiple servers. 2. Set a default dispatch board for each inbox.
3. Automatically save email attachments as documents tied to the service order.
4. Automatically check domains (e.g. somecompany.com) for a match if the email address has no matches.
5. Automatically include the customer's email message in emails generated by the "Email Connector: Customer Updated Service Order" workflow event, eliminating the need to open the customer’s message from service order notes.

I am attempting update from 13.1 to 14.1.15 and toward of installer I get "Feature Transfer Error" fatal error -1603
I ensured Timer service stopped, previous TP was uninstalled etc, restarted server, did install 3 times with same error.
Any ideas what this error means, cause, and solution?

I got past error -1603... installer ran from console of server instead of remote RDP session.
