Pricing - Set at Account Level

I would like to update a specific category of my pricebook to a new Selling Margin. So I created a new price level within the system and have this level selected for ANY customer buying the specific category of product. This doesn't seem possible considering all pricing for customers is set at the Account level under the Accounting Information tab.

Is there a way to have the system automatically populate the specific price level to any service order or quote, simply based on the ITEM selected and not the account being sold to?
