  • Emailing from Tigerpaw with different Time Zones

    We cover the gamit using all Time Zones across the US. When emailing a Customer from within Tigerpaw since our server is in Calilfornia on Pacific Time, it holds the email for 3 hours when our user on the east coast sends the email....thus needless delays in communicating with our Customers.

    Likewise, we still have the issue of scheduling for multiple time zones and coding business hours, overtime and doubletime for engineers in different time zones.

    Are any of these things going to be addressed soon? We've been asking for 4 years.....doesn't anyone else using Tigerpaw have these needs?

    Hi Debbie,

    Did you ever get a reply from Tigerpaw to this? We also work in multiple time zones.

      in 2012, Megan was going to write this up for development but it evidently didn't get any traction.

        This is on our backlog. However the work has not been scheduled as of yet. It is an epic undertaking development wise that touches every part of the application. I will let you know when this work does get scheduled.

          Any update on when or if the time zone update will be available? Or does anyone have any brilliant work arounds for dealing with scheduling in different time zones? Thanks!

            So it is now October 2018 and this still hasnt been addressed and we are also running into time zone issues mostly for scheduling. So if I do my math correctly you had been waiting since 2011 and being 2018 it has been 7 yrs of this not being addressed. This is not just a minor issue for larger companies and probably should be addressed unless you want to stick to small companies only using TigerPaw. Would like an update please. Does anyone have a work around for this at all?
